Josh Allen will forego the Pro-Bowl once again to compete in the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. For the 3rd consecutive year, Allen will be paired up with PGA pro Keith Mitchell. Other notable names are Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady, the latter will be grouped with Allen. The two have joined each other on the course before during Capital One’s “The Match” in 2021.

Last year, Allen and Mitchell were quite competitive while closing out the Pro-Am portion of the event in sole possession of 4th place with a score of -7. Wind conditions on Saturday of last year's tournament created some scheduling issues as amateurs were unable to compete in the final round.

Mitchell went on to finish the weekend with a T4 placement and a score of -14. Through 2023, Mitchell placed 53rd at The Masters Tournament, T58 in the PGA Championship, and most recently T20 at the US Open. Mitchell is one of 8 pros in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am who was not either top 60 in 2023 FedExCup Fall Standings, or otherwise exempt, meaning he snuck in to this one.

Changes to the PB Pro-Am in 2024:

The field will look a little different from years past. For Bills fans that tune in to watch Josh, it will be a 2-round affair. The pros will be joined by their amateur partners for only the Thursday and Friday rounds, and finish out the weekend rounds without company. For the first time, the event will be one of the 8 Signature Events of the 2024 PGA season. With that change comes higher stakes, a bigger purse, and more FedExCup points to be earned. Furthermore, the field will also be cut from its 156-player form, down to just 80 (not including amateur partners). With the decrease in field size, the tournament will also stick to just 2 courses, rather than 3. Pebble and Spyglass Hill will see the action this week, while Monterey Peninsula will sit this one out.

Allen and company are set to tee-off at 1:21pm  EST, Thursday. You can catch the action from 3-7pm EST on the GOLF channel or on Peacock.
